Museums in the Area Both Educate and Entertain Visitors

This is particularly relevant if you want to go whale watching while you are in the wonderful city of Seattle, as it is. Whaling is usually a lot of fun, and it's much more enjoyable if you go into your whale-watching expedition equipped with the knowledge that can be gained by spending a little time studying whales at the Whale Museum before you go on your excursion.
Another excellent museum in Seattle is the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center, which is located in the city's International District. This museum not only provides excellent materials and information on the maritime history that is so essential to the city of Seattle today, but it also has interactive exhibits that inspire children to learn and explore via hands-on activities. This is a wonderful spot to spend the day, but be sure to check the hours of operation for the day you want to visit since this center is open for fewer hours on weekdays than the majority of museums.
The Wing Luke Asian Museum is the first and only museum of its type in the United States of America. The Asian Pacific American Museum is dedicated to conserving and promoting the culture, history, and art of the Asian Pacific American people. This museum contains a permanent display that is designed to serve as a reminder of the internment camps that were used to detain Japanese Americans during World War II, which may be found here. I believe that this display, more than anything else, serves as a vital reminder and is well worth a visit, and there are many other exhibitions that are both entertaining and educational.
